Privacy Policy
ThermalPrint for macOS and iOS · Last updated July 11, 2026
ThermalPrint collects no data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Your photos and settings never leave your device except the image you choose to send to your own printer.
What we collect
Nothing. ThermalPrint does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. We have no servers that receive your data, and the app contains no analytics or tracking SDKs.
Your photos
When you choose a photo to print, it is processed entirely on your device to render the 1-bit bitmap the printer receives. Photos are never uploaded, and they are not retained by the app after you close it.
Bluetooth
The app uses Bluetooth solely to discover your MXW01 thermal printer and send it the image to print. This is a direct, local connection between your device and your printer. Bluetooth is not used to collect location or any other information, and no data is sent anywhere else.
On-device settings
Your preferences (such as dithering, darkness, brightness, and the last printer you used) are
stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard settings storage
(UserDefaults). This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us
or anyone else.
Children's privacy
ThermalPrint is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
